WHO IS PONG – HOUSE OF PING 

We are much more than just a Ping Pong bar. We want to offer a unique nightlife experience where sports, games, food, cocktails, live music and dancing come together. Our audience is very diverse, from children and ping pong enthusiasts that have training/tournaments during the day to young people who play around the table and dance until late at night. Our goal is to offer everyone a unique experience by creating an environment that’s open and caring. You also have the freedom to wear what you want as we want that everyone expresses themselves as they would like to. Our team consists of youngsters who enjoy working in hospitality and most importantly people who like to have fun. We have created a casual environment for our employees to work and are open to any ideas on how to improve or expand the PONG concept. You don’t want to miss our team party’s!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Within this position there is a lot of freedom for creativity, you as manager of Li’s Coffeehouse will have the opportunity to put your own spin on the menu, the looks and the team that will largely have to be built! Li’s Coffeehouse is part of PONG house of ping, with the rest of the management team the focus will be mainly on the ping pong bar. Because the bar is so busy, independence is greatly appreciated!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Being a barista at Li’s Coffeehouse
  • Being in charge of Li’s Coffeehouse
  • Training team to make good coffee
  • Filling and creating rosters for Li’s Coffeehouse
  • Hiring new Baristas when needed (always in consultation with the owners)
  • The new manager will spend 1 day a week marketing Li’s Coffeehouse (think Socials, flyering in the neighborhood, coming up with fun promotions
  • Placing orders, Bidfood account and order lists are all ready.

 

SKILLS:

  • Some experience with and rigor on food safety standards
  • Milk frothing and entry level latte art skills, Extensive latte art skills a plus but not a must
  • Coffee machine cleaning (including milk nozzles)
  • Experience independently opening and closing a business
  • Dealing with cash register systems
  • Eye for beautifully serving the products you sell

AND FINALLY, HERE’S WHAT WE OFFER YOU:

  • Start date: immediately (can be discussed).
  • A full-time position for 32-40 hours a week.  
  • Salary: €2100 per month for 32 hours per week / €2500 per month for 40 hours per week (plus tips)
